Surrounding Area

By looking at the map of the area surrounding the new reservoir, it is immediately apparent that there are new housing developments near the proposed site. Currently these houses cater to the upper middle class, but the reservoir could bring in a wealthier group. The construction of docks and houses backing to the water will significantly increase the value of the homes near the water. The reservoir will hide the view of the toll road that currently occupies the land, and make the view more asthetically pleasing. This will bring more money into the surrounding area, and generally to the city and county of Broomfield.
